サクラ国際合唱団が確固たる基盤を築き、国際的にも活発に活動されることを心より願っております。Worldsharpも、皆様の一歩一歩を常に支え、お力になれることがあれば共に力を合わせ、お手伝いさせていただきます。
To all members of the Sakura International Choir.
I wholeheartedly support your activities, coming together from various countries to unite through music.
Through music, we deliver strength and solace to people, and we wholeheartedly applaud your journey in creating more joy and happiness.
We sincerely hope that the Sakura International Choir can establish a solid foundation and actively engage at an international level. Worldsharp will always support each of your steps, and if there is anything we can assist with, we will work together to help.

Is there anything else that connects us humans as much as music does?
Rhythm transcends language barriers and brings smiles to many. Melody overcomes all conflicts and moves everyone.
Your presence as a choir brings joy where there is division and courage to live where there is sorrow.

While training in Italy, I sang Italian songs diligently to learn the language.
I still sing them often.
I would be happy if everyone became familiar with Japanese songs and it helped improve their language skills.

日本での生活は、勉強や仕事、家族の予定など日々忙しいと思います。忙しいと、私たちは芸術を忘れてしまいがちですが、皆さんのように歌を歌う時間を設け、それを通じて人と繋がろうとしていることは素晴らしいことだと思います。
私も３年ほど海外で生活しましたが、私の海外生活の中にもこのような合唱団があれば現地の方ともっと交流できてよかったのに、と羨ましく思っています。
これからも歌を通して、様々な人との出会いをたくさん作ってくださいね。
To all members of the Sakura International Choir,

I believe life in Japan is busy with studying, work and family commitments. When we are busy, we tend to forget about the arts, but it is wonderful that you make time to sing and connect with others through it.
I also lived abroad for about three years, and I envy that if there had been a choir like this during my time overseas, I could have interacted more with the locals.
Please continue to create many encounters with different people through singing.

言葉にはふたつの形があります。文字などの書かれた言葉は光によって目の前に存在し、口に出して話される言葉は音として存在します。この音をメロディやリズムに載せるのが歌です。
それぞれ違うルーツ、違う立場の人が、それぞれの歌声を縒り合わせてできた色とりどりの大きな布を織り、あらゆる壁や分断を越えて多くの人に届けるのが合唱です。
すこし大袈裟だったかもしれませんが、それだけのことをしているのだと自信を持って、ただし肩の力は抜いて、楽しく合唱をつづけていってください。

Words exist in two forms. Written words, such as letters, exist before our eyes through light, while spoken words exist as sound.
Singing is when these sounds are carried on melody and rhythm.
Choral singing is when people from different roots and positions weave their individual voices together into a large, colourful fabric that transcends all walls and divisions, reaching many people.
This may sound a little exaggerated, but be confident that you are doing just that. At the same time, relax your shoulders and continue to enjoy singing.
